Talk of the town

Three artists meet in their exploration of urban space. In a joint exhibition, they want to explore the intersections of their positions. They pursue their questions in very different ways, in the choice of their respective materials and the creative arrangement in space and image. Their two- and three-dimensional works and expansive installations make reference to the special features of the exhibition venue. They interact with it and the local conditions. Spatial constellations play a role not only in the arrangement of the works, but also in the individual works. Imaginary spaces seem to form
, to open up, to condense on the surface, right up to complex spatial structures. In STADTGESPRÄCH, the artists are concerned with conveying the echo of subjective, urban impressions. They want to take the exhibition visitor into their idea of architecture as a human counterpart, a human structure of social, historically grown constellations, by showing their specific artistic transformation process in the exhibition.
