for the kindergarten, the 28 different national plants also move into the space in three dimensions: they occupy a three-tiered circular platform on which the little Europeans can rest, meet and retreat. flowerpower is a forum for meeting and dating.
The pyramid shape is about 90 cm high, with a step depth of about 30 cm. All transitions are rounded. The non-slip material of the convex shape is printed abrasion resistant. The lower diameter has the working size of 200 cm and is easily movable for adults. Flowerpower is divisible and can therefore also be moved to the individual group rooms.
In the entrance area, a wall design with color-transformed plants printed on aluminum is being considered.
As an outdoor counterpart, a concave shape with the same dimensions is intended as a round, stepped amphitheater in the children’s garden. This is to be created and planted together with the children.
The land plants for printing the elements are painted and then digitally transformed.
For each there is a description in the local language and the languages of instruction. They express the colorfulness and cultural diversity of the teachers and learners in the European School and its kindergarten in an aesthetically sophisticated yet accessible way for all ages.

The iris for Belgium, Damascus rose for Bulgaria, the oak tree for Germany, the beech for Denmark, cornflowers for Estonia, birches for Finland, lavender for France, the olive tree for Greece, clover flowers for Ireland, lemon trees for Italy, daisies for Latvia, the rue is an ancient medicinal and spice plant for Lithuania, the grapevine for Luxembourg, the sandarac tree a limb cypress is the national tree of Malta, Sunflowers are for the Netherlands, edelweiss for Austria, the willow tree for Poland, the red carnation for Portugal, the reed for Romania, the national flower of Sweden is the moss lily (Linnaea borealis), the linden for Slovakia, juniper characterizes the western part of Slovenia, the strawberry tree stands for Spain, hops for the Czech Republic, the bell pepper plant for Hungary, the rose for Great Britain and the pomegranate tree for Cyprus.
There are ornamental, useful and also edible plants among them. The canon was researched and established by botanists.
