The fanfold format has accompanied me throughout my artistic practice. I discovered it while sketching in a public space. When folded, it defies wind and weather and can disappear and reappear at any time. As it can be worked on both sides, it represents a spatialization of complex relationships. Shaped radially, it becomes a book again, seemingly without beginning or end.
