<\/p>\n<p><em>Un travail spatial modulaire compos\u00e9 de terres cuites, de dessins de plans avec des <\/em> <em>des peintures fluorescentes nocturnes, des vues de l&rsquo;espace urbain sous forme de dessins \u00e0 la main et des projections au beamer.<\/em><br \/><em>Les terracotta mesurent jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 50 centim\u00e8tres de haut et de large.<\/em><br \/><em>argiles. Leur plan est bas\u00e9 sur un rectangle de taille toujours \u00e9gale avec quatre entailles.<\/em><br \/><em>Pli\u00e9s diff\u00e9remment, ils simulent des arcs de coupe, des coins de rue du Vieux Damas. Structures urbaines<\/em><br \/><em>d&rsquo;origine hell\u00e9nistique, m\u00e9di\u00e9vale et islamique sont<\/em><em>rendues physiquement perceptibles<\/em> <em>par les moyens des arts plastiques<\/em> Une installation spatiale en terre cuite blanche, noire et rouge et des projections  <\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<table border=\"0\" width=\"760\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\">\n<p><strong>PROJET DAMASC\u00c8NE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Damas est d\u00e9crite dans les textes anciens comme n&rsquo;\u00e9tant rien de moins que le paradis. Et tout aussi arch\u00e9typique,<br \/>comment, pour nous qui ne croyons pas le conna\u00eetre, le paradis semble pourtant familier, c&rsquo;est la<br \/>la structure ancestrale de cette ville ancienne, inconnue dans notre monde moderne<br \/>intuitivement saisissable : comme un souvenir, comme un lieu de nostalgie, comme un mod\u00e8le et comme un d\u00e9sir.<br \/>On ne peut pas penser \u00e0 Damas sans se projeter.<br \/>Apr\u00e8s un s\u00e9jour d&rsquo;\u00e9tudes dans la m\u00e9tropole syrienne, la sculptrice munichoise Nele Str\u00f6bel a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une s\u00e9rie de sculptures.<br \/>d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 le projet d&rsquo;un travail spatial qui s&rsquo;int\u00e9resse \u00e0 l&rsquo;organisme urbain hautement complexe,<br \/>ses espaces priv\u00e9s, publics et imaginaires de mani\u00e8re ph\u00e9nom\u00e9nologique et artistique.<br \/>Nele Str\u00f6bel explore ainsi le champ de tension entre les diff\u00e9rentes significations et les diff\u00e9rentes formes d&rsquo;expression.<br \/>niveaux d&rsquo;interpr\u00e9tation d&rsquo;une ville aussi r\u00e9elle et vivante que mystique, en s&rsquo;int\u00e9ressant \u00e0<br \/>des r\u00e9flexions artistiques utilis\u00e9es simultan\u00e9ment et form\u00e9es dans diff\u00e9rents m\u00e9dias, et<br \/>analyse le sujet.<br \/>Ainsi, les \u00e9l\u00e9ments les plus tangibles, tridimensionnels, de \u00ab\u00a0l&rsquo;espace narratif\u00a0\u00bb, comme Str\u00f6bel appelle son<br \/>52 objets en terre cuite, des variations de formes et d&rsquo;espaces, bas\u00e9es sur des<br \/>diff\u00e9rents plis toujours du m\u00eame motif de surface. En argiles de diff\u00e9rentes couleurs<br \/>cuites et parfois pourvues de rayures contrast\u00e9es, la vari\u00e9t\u00e9 des couleurs qui en r\u00e9sulte<br \/>de petites structures spatiales aussi \u00e9tonnantes qu&rsquo;\u00e9clairantes, elles invitent, en tant que signes et gestes spatiaux<br \/>Le texte de l&rsquo;article invite \u00e0 explorer la structure spatiale explor\u00e9e par Str\u00f6bel.<br \/>S&rsquo;y ajoutent, dans une autre \u00e9tape d&rsquo;abstraction, quatre dessins de plans de grand format sur papier d&rsquo;argile<br \/>et Operafolie. Les dessins au feutre, d&rsquo;une part le r\u00e9seau routier et les contours des b\u00e2timents,<br \/>d&rsquo;autre part, des isom\u00e9tries de b\u00e2timents individuels qui, regroup\u00e9s autour d&rsquo;eux, deviennent presque des<br \/>Les mod\u00e8les en argile servent de plafond ornemental et de surface de projection. Dans<br \/>de leur inexactitude d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9e, par rapport aux plans de ville modernes, dans l&rsquo;utilisation d&rsquo;un syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;information coh\u00e9rent<br \/>cartographique, ces dessins s&rsquo;apparentent \u00e0 des plans historiques avec leurs<br \/>les changements de perspective et les mises en \u00e9vidence pond\u00e9r\u00e9s par la perception humaine. Sur<br \/>les surfaces de ces plans, en cr\u00e9ant un maximum de densit\u00e9 atmosph\u00e9rique,<br \/>des photos documentaires de rues, d&rsquo;architecture et de vie \u00e0 Damas sont projet\u00e9es.<br \/>Une vingtaine d&rsquo;\u0153uvres sur papier, accompagn\u00e9es d&rsquo;autres dessins de plans, traitent de quartiers particuliers de la ville.<br \/>et conduisent le spectateur dans les d\u00e9tails. Avec feutre et peinture fluo<br \/>les places urbaines repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es brillent dans la p\u00e9nombre de la salle de projection et<br \/>ajoutent un autre niveau d&rsquo;expression, qui th\u00e9matise et dissout le mur environnant.<br \/>Couverture de la population urbaine.
