2022<\/p>\n<p>Restart 2 at Stiftung Kunstfond:<\/p>\n<p>In &#8220;nomad II&#8221; I would like to deal with the dematerialization of the visual arts in times of Corona. In search of the &#8220;city as workshop&#8221; in the sense of Vil\u00e9m Flusser, I would like to visit colleagues in their workspaces in different federal states and exchange ideas with the help of visual means in the spirit of Andr\u00e9 L\u00e9roi-Gourhan (Hand and Word) and Bernhard Waldenfels. Thinking with my hands is an important part of the work in the studio. In my artistic work, I have long been concerned with inspiration from real objects such as tools. Leporellos with colleagues and silent films about the visits will be created and set to music by musician friends. The aim of the 6-month project is a discursive diary of drawings, terracotta objects and lino prints that can also be traveled through virtually. A hymn to the work in the workshop. Birgit Luxenburger, Frankfurt, Katja von Puttkamer, Ingelheim am Rhein. Eva Raiser-Johanson, Sybille Rath, Munich. Katrin Str\u00f6bel, Stuttgart, Marseille, Rabat. Nele Str\u00f6bel, Berlin, Munich. Pomona Zipser, Berlin. The collaborative works started partly with edited leporellos prepared by me, partly on blank, folded sheets of different papers on A4 landscape. We drew, watercolored, printed (linoleum, stencil, stamp printing), inked, poured, sewed, glued and cut. Each time we developed our own narrative space, our own story. We worked in silence or full of conversation. There was a lot to feel and experience after the shutdown.          <\/p>\n<p>The work was documented by 2 cameras on tripods. I edited a film for each artist from the material. The live orchestration by the duo Brand Rupp is planned but still not financed. One day I hope to be able to realize a film evening with live music paired with an analogue leporello exhibition. The discursive event Leporello-storys at THIRD PLACE at DIE ANGEWANDTE University in Vienna was a good start. Now I&#8217;m really looking forward to the BUCHSALON format of the KUNSTBIBLIOTHEK Berlin, which can take place on September 9 this year. The Leporello project will continue to accompany me. Some 7-meter-long rolls of handmade paper have already been cut with the circular saw and are waiting to be folded.
