Wunderbaum 1999The outline of Wunderbaum is derived from a traditional air freshener. This work is made from a green digital print sewed onto a textile used in construction and filled with weatherproof stuffing. The print shows a highly magnified photo of a radiolarian (one-celled plant) taken with a scanning electron microscope. Wunderbaum hangs from a 7-meter high mast located on the edge of the lake at the Obing public bathing facility.Obing am See |
