Chambre d'amis – The Red Room, 2003

In the exhibition "Zimmer frei" (room available) in Hotel Mariandl, Goethestr. 51, Munich.

For the "Long Museum Night - 2003", the artist installed a guestroom in a container on the street to represent round-the-clock work which transforms us all into nomads.

A chambre d'amis without a bed or a window to the outside world. Real and fictitious objects from the atelier were laminated in red paper and composed into an imaginary workplace, called the 'red room'.
