Dieter Ströbel was born in 1923 in Bad
Mergentheim. He studied architecture in 1943 in Tennessee,
continuing his studies in 1946 at the Technical University of
Stuttgart in 1946 and completing his degree in engineering and
architecture in 1948. He began working in the main administration
of Osram in Munich in 1953 as a specialist for lighting
architecture and as head architect with responsibilities for all
buildings. In 1958 he founded the design and planning office "Licht
und Architektur". He has planned and built in Germany, Europe, the
USA, Central and South America, Japan, Korea, and Africa, with a
primary emphasis on industrial architecture. |
