| Peider A. Defilla was born and raised in
Rhaeto-Romanic Switzerland. He graduated from the Academy of Fine
Arts in Munich, worked as a producer, director, gallery owner,
artist, and musician, and was one of the first video artists to
perform in Munich. In 1974, he founded a publishing house and
gallery under the name of B.O.A. (pictures, objects, actions) with
several other artists. Defilla received the special prize for
promising young documentary filmmakers at the International
Documentary Film Festival in Munich, sponsored by the FFF
Bayern. |
